Dripping Springs Youth Orchestra is gathering interest for a beginner string orchestra and music theory class to begin August 26, 2025.
Please fill out one form for each student no later than July 1.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays during the 2025-26 school year- 5-6:30pm for beginner orchestra, 6:30-7pm theory
Minimum requirement:
Violin/Viola- Suzuki Book 1 Minuet 1 (or equivalent)
Cello- Suzuki Book 1 Long Long Ago (or equivalent)
Bass- Suzuki Book 1 Perpetual Motion (or equivalent)
Having a private instructor is preferred and recommended, but not required.
There is no minimum age or grade to join. We need a minimum of 16 students to commit to begin this orchestra. Please share the link below with anyone that may be interested!
